Health Exchange Application:

Community Health Center can help you fill out a Health Exchange Application and also help you know which policy you qualify for. There are three different categories of health insurance coverage, and we explain each one below:

Private Health Insurance Policies

These insurance policies are found through private health insurance companies. These tend to be the most expensive form of health insurance. They offer essential health benefits, preventative care, and care for current health problems.

Insurance Based on Household Income and Size

The next form of insurance coverage is a policy that costs less than the private health insurance policies. The cost for these policies is set based on your family’s household income level as well as the size of your family. Many people find that this insurance policy works well for them because it is often more affordable.

Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

The last form of insurance coverage available is Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). This is the most-affordable option available on the market today. These policies cover families with very limited income.

If you’re wondering what type of insurance policy you would qualify for, Community Health Center of Snohomish would be happy to talk with you and help you find insurance coverage that is right for you.
