I am particularly interested in the areas of cardiology, dermatology, and palliative care and I work towards incorporating these areas of medicine into my primary care practice. I think community outreach, education, and empowerment are some of the most powerful tools we have for improving the lives of our neighbors and ourselves. I am always eager for an opportunity to be involved with these activities in the community. Since moving to Washington, I have fallen in love with the enormously tall trees of the Pacific Northwest. I think we are so lucky to live among them. I also have a fondness for lakes from growing up in Minnesota, and enjoy a cool dip whenever I get the chance. I have a wonderful wife and am proud to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I strive to support others in this community both in my personal and professional life. I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, thrifting, and being outside as much as I can. Music is a big part of life for my wife and I, as we enjoy listening to and making music of all kinds.

As a Physician Assistant, I believe access to high-quality healthcare is a human right. Good health is foundational for a good life, so it is my goal to help patients improve their health and pursue the best life for themselves. As I have learned year after year, the best medicine is provided as a team. It is a privilege to work alongside many other talented members of the healthcare field to provide excellent care to all patients. I believe we as medical providers have as much to learn from our patients as they do from us. I seek to be curious and listen carefully to understand a patient's needs and decide on the best approach together.
