Community Health Center of Snohomish (CHC) is a grant recipient from the federal government for much of the services it provides to our patients. As part of the assistance from grants, CHC and its provider staff are provided liability coverage through the federal government.
While we receive assistance, we are not considered federal employees. Any claim for professional liability against a CHC provider covered under the scope of our federal grant must be presented to the United States, submitted first as an administrative claim to the U.S. Department of Justice using a Standard From 95. This applies to CHC’s medical clinics, dental clinics, and pharmacies.
