Physical Therapy

Why is Physical Therapy Important?

Physical therapy can be an essential tool in treating, recovering, and preventing many physical issues. At Community Health Center of Snohomish County (CHC), we believe everyone deserves access to the services they need for a healthy and happy life. CHC primary care providers can now quickly and easily refer their patients to physical therapy within the CHC network at two different CHC clinic locations: Edmonds and Everett-Central Clinic.

Whether or not you have insurance, physical therapy is a treatment option as part of the holistic care available with CHC. Our physical therapy providers have access to your CHC records to provide comprehensive care based on your background, including your job, transportation challenges, previous injuries, and more. They can quickly and easily communicate with your primary care provider to ensure you get the best care and most support possible.

Finding a Physical Therapist

Unfortunately, the need for physical therapy can be easily ignored because it is often not covered by insurance or is expensive to pay for out-of-pocket. At CHC, no one is turned away because of an inability to pay. Physical therapy services are available for established Community Health Center of Snohomish County patients. Physical Therapy services require a referral from a primary care provider. Once a referral is received, a scheduler will contact you to schedule an appointment.
