Special Interests:

I am passionate about creating a space where students feel supported, understood, and able to grow. I bring decades of experience in higher education, along with clinical experience across diverse settings, both of which have shaped how I listen, connect, and support each student. Throughout my work, I have partnered with students from diverse backgrounds, including those navigating disability, mental health, identity exploration, and complex life experiences. I am especially passionate about helping students build self-awareness, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging. I believe this foundation helps students better understand who they are and feel more confident in expressing that. Outside of my professional role, I value spending time in nature, being with friends and family, and capturing moments through photography. As a lifelong learner, I enjoy creative expression through arts and crafts, including beadwork, vision boards, and other forms of artistic exploration. Volunteering is an important way I stay grounded and connected, and I value opportunities to give back and support others. I also continue to develop my skills in American Sign Language (ASL), which has broadened my perspective on communication and access.

I Believe:

I believe every student deserves to feel understood, respected, and supported. When students feel heard and valued, they are better able to explore their experiences and gain clarity around what they need. Through collaboration, students can build insight, recognize their needs, and take steps forward in ways that feel right for them. Over time, this supports students in feeling more confident and capable as they face challenges and move forward.
