Celebrating National Health Center Week 2023!

August 6, 2023

Today we are kicking off our celebration of National Health Center Week (NHCW), August 6–12.  This is annual celebration’s goal is to raise awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers. Community Health Centers across the nation serve as the beacon of strength, service, and care in their communities. In moments of pain and loss, they offer support and love. In moments of triumph, they offer hope and a vision for the future.

This year’s NHCW theme is “The Roadmap to a Stronger America”

Community Health Centers are a critical piece of the health care system, ensuring that everyone can access affordable, high-quality healthcare. Health centers are not ordinary clinics; they are problem-solvers who reach beyond the exam room to care for the whole person by providing access to necessities like food and housing resources. Health centers care for everyone, regardless of insurance status. They are key in keeping America healthy.

Let’s celebrate the future of Community Health!

To celebrate the contributions of community health centers, CHC is holding daily activities this week dedicated to particular focus areas.
